Restaurant Features Afternoon Tea Tea Time Dessert Events TEA Hotel Delamar Hotel Launches Afternoon Tea Service at All Locations Jessica Ryan April 23, 2024 The Delamar Hotels have added yet another offering to their ever-growing list of experiences. They recently launched their Afternoon Tea program which can be enjoyed at all of their locations.We recently paid a visit to Artisan in Southport to get the tea on this new offering. Guests can enjoy this Afternoon Tea, available Tuesday through Thursday between 2:30 pm and 3:30pm. For $50+ per person you will enjoy a variety of signature sandwiches, pastries and desserts as well as a selection of green, herbal or black tea served in your own individual teapot. AFTERNOON TEA MENUSAVORY* Cucumber and dill cream cheese on multigrain bread* Truffled egg salad with watercress on white bread (what a delightful pairing!)* Smoked salmon on sourdough* Beet and goat cheese on rye, and * Artisan Lobster slider on a brioche roll SWEET* Currant scones* Vanilla and caramel cream puffs * Mini carrot cake bites (All mouth-watering pastries are made in-house by their own pastry chef) The Afternoon Tea service in Southport will extend to the outdoors when the Patio opens in a few weeks. Although there is no date set yet, there are also plans to incorporate this into a High Tea where diners will be able to enjoy a glass of bubbly as well. I can think of no better way to spend a Friday afternoon! This experience is such an asset to our communities. Reservations are required with a minimum of 48 hours advance notification.
