Milestone Restaurant Opens 2nd Location in Downtown Mystic

Milestone Restaurant, the very popular Redding, CT eatery and live music destination has just anounced the opening of its second location in downtown Mystic, Connecticut. With the continued success of the Redding location, which opened its doors in 2018, Milestone is ready to bring its unique blend of classic bites and cocktails with live music experiences to the vibrant heart of Mystic….also their insanely delicious Burger Menu!

Their expansion to downtown Mystic is an exciting addition to the already bustling Water Street, which has become a hub of activity in previous years. Peter Fine, a former hospitality-focused real estate executive, and his wife Andi opened Milestone in 2018 to create a space with a laid-back vibe and a wide array of scratch-made classic comfort food and craft cocktails. The vision for Milestone is to become an authentic neighborhood gathering spot for family and friends, whether it be dinner for two or larger groups.  Milestone is a versatile space that seamlessly integrates an inviting heated outdoor deck and a cozy but uniquely vibrant interior. Their mission is to foster a sense of warmth and camaraderie, encouraging communal experiences where laughter and conversation flow freely, making it a place that feels like a home away from home. 

The inspiration for opening the second Milestone location in Mystic came from regular visits to the area and numerous friends from the area. Peter and Andi's imagination was ignited by the prospect of establishing their restaurant in Mystic, drawn to the area's diverse cultural experiences and captivating coastal ambiance. To enhance the relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere that characterizes Milestone, live music performances with local and national musicians will be a regular feature, occurring at least two to three times each month. These live performances have already established themselves as a beloved tradition at Milestone's Redding location, and the tradition will continue at their new Mystic establishment. The lineup typically showcases talented local musicians of all kinds, promising engaging and fun experiences for all. Most of these performances are scheduled for Saturdays, with a nominal $5 cover charge for entrance. 

All menu items, simple preparations yet bold in flavor, are made from scratch. From soups and salads to burgers or pizza, Milestone certainly has something for every taste. Classic cocktails include a Sidecar, French 75, and a Whiskey Cocktail, their take on an Old Fashioned. In addition, an extensive rotating craft beer list and a wide array of wines are available. 

Milestone Mystic is dedicated to being the ultimate gathering place for people to create cherished memories and celebrate life's milestones. Excited to join the lively restaurant scene, the new Mystic location is set to become a “happy place” for locals and visitors alike, offering an unparalleled combination of classic comfort foods, craft cocktails, and live music events. 

As of Saturday, November 4th, Milestone Mystic is open to the public at 12 Water Street, Mystic, CT, with the following minimum hours of operation:  

Wednesday through Monday Dinner Service beginning with Bar and Pizzas at 3PM and Full Menu at 5PM.

Monday, Wednesday & Thursday Kitchen will stay open until 10PM

Thursday Late Night Menu until 11PM

Friday & Saturday Late Night Menu until Midnight

Sunday Dinner until 9PM

In addition, Milestone Mystic will be implementing a weekend (Friday/Saturday/Sunday) lunch service beginning on November 17th at 11:00 am.
