My current food cravings are: Vietnamese summer rolls, any good dessert, a perfect cappuccino

The only fast food I will eat is: A 5 Guys Burger and fries, but even after the two times a year that I do eat them, I regret it. It's a truly momentary pleasure.

If I could be any Iron Chef, I would be: A combo of Bobby Flay for his coolness and Cat Cora for her name, which almost sounds like a superhero.

My favorite restaurant in Fairfield County is: I have to say that I had a lunch at The Dressing Room in Westport that knocked my socks off. Every bite of it was more perfect than the last. I remember it all.

My favorite restaurant in the Tri-State area is: Balthazar in NYC (I'm STILL trying to get a reservation at Eleven Madison Park)

Restaurant dish I wish I could make at home: Hushpuppies, but deep-fryers scare the heck out of me

My go-to dinner party entrée is:  Jambalaya. It's beautiful, colorful, filled with something-for-everyone and when I bring out that giant, shallow serving bowl filled with it, folks stop and ogle. Just saying'.

When I’m not eating, I’m….usually reading about food or cooking it. Or attempting some overly ambitious DIY house project. Or doing yoga or gardening. Or going on adventures with my kids.

Prepared food I have let people think was home-made…I can honestly say that I have never done this.

I’d rather pick (pumpkins, apples, strawberries): Pumpkins. In a sincere pumpkin patch.

The last book I enjoyed was: My favorite movie of all time is: Book: Life of Pi by Yann Marteland favorite movie? Four-way tie between The Notebook, The Godfather, Dead Poet's Society and Cinema Paradiso.

My favorite food related movie of all time is: Big Night or Julie and Julia. It's a close call. Humor and food is just a magical combination.
